Our friends from Irmãos Makossa have invited the Afromats crew back in town for a night of 'Africa Electronika'. To celebrate the build up towards the Santo António Festival 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal we will be performing an exclusive dj set of African inspired dance tunes and Afrobeat.
The Santo António Festival celebrates Portugal’s patron saint, where the climax of the festival takes place on 12 June in Lisbon; this is when the entire city becomes a pool of exciting events. Lisbon is naturally blessed with vibrant energy, but it becomes especially alive during this time with great weather, food, drink, music, street parties, markets and cultural events.
Afromats and friends will 'Afrotize the vibes' as always with an exclusive vinyl DJ set at Irmãos Makossa's famous and intimate residence 'LARGO Café Estúdio'. Spinning the tracks on the night to bless your dancing shoes will be Max Soul, Yaw Noir & Nelson Makossa from the Afromats Crew.
